Dublin to Ballinasloe Driving Instructions

• Follow M6 Motorway towards Athlone
• At Roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the Athlone Bypass - N6 (Signposted Galway)
• Follow the N6 to Ballinasloe
• You will pass a large filling station on the left hand side just before the sign for Ballinasloe.
• Drive straight on and straight through a set of traffic lights. ( you will see a small church on the left hand side at the traffic lights)
• Drive straight on until you come to a bridge
• Following the bridge, the road veers to the left
• Follow the road past the marina and the next turn left will bring you straight into the underground car park of The Carlton Shearwater Hotel.

• Follow the N6 to Ballinsaloe
• About two minutes after enterting Ballinsloe, you will see Portiuncula Hospital on the left hand side.
• Drive straight on staying on the N6
• You will bypass the town centre.
• The road then veers to the left and the hotel is just around the corner on the right hand side.
• If you miss the first entry to the hotel, there is a 2nd entry a little further down the road which will bring you straight into the underground carpark of The Carlton Shearwater Hotel.

 
Adequate car and coach parking is available on site and is complimentary to guests of the hotel.
