When checking in i left instructions with regard to payment of bill for room belonging to other members of our party who had not yet checked in. A copy of my credit card details were taken for this ...
purpose, but the instructions were not adhered to.
We checked in at 6.00 pm, but when we went up to our room the cleaners were only cleaning it and we were told to wait for 15 minutes. This was a major disappointment to the young children in our party who had raced excitedly to the room. I have stayed in many hotels over the years, but i have never encountered cleaners servicing rooms so late in the day.
Entertainment in the Bar on the Friday night was poor whereas the Entertainment on the Saturday night was excellent.
Menu for the Restaurant is very limited.
Service was slow and inattentive. One got the impression that because there were young children in our party, it was okay for us to be ignored so attention could be lavished on tables were the potential for making more money was possible.
Staff at breakfast time were more courteous and family friendly.
Swimming pool and leisure facilities were excellent.
General appearance and cleanliness of the Hotel is of a hight standard.
I would have no problem staying in this Hotel again but i might consider eating Dinner elsewhere in Ballinasloe. ---

The location was perfect as it is walking distance from the town centre. The staff were friendly. The bedroom was clean and well presented. The Restaurant was not serving food when we arrived so we ate in the bar. The menu was extensive and although the food took some time to arrive, it was very good! I would definitely stay again!

We arrived just after three and our first encounter was with the reception staff and it was perfect... They were so polite and helpful and efficient...We were given our room details and off we went. The ...
room was great and our 5 year old was delighted she had a nice bed to herself.. very important to a big girl you know.. We just settled in and decided to us the leisure facilities.. The people we met were lovely and making sure we had all we needed before we went in.. The pool was warm and relaxing and very enjoyable for families... We enjoyed the rest of the evening doing the usual family stuff dinner and then to the bar for a few drinks and then bed.... The breakfast the next morning was great and a good starter for the day as we had long journey ahead....and our big girl enjoyed helping herself to breakfast....getting help with the hot plates when she needed, they made her feel very at home.... and they were friendly and helpful.... Our stay overall was very pleasant and we will certainly be planning another visit with all the family . ---

We need a stop over point and the hotel just out side Galway was exactly what we needed, Staff were very friendly and helpful.The room,bar where we ate was of exceptional standard and with and overall good atmosphere.

attended a wedding on july24th last...fantastic hotel..really friendly staff..beautiful rooms..top class all round...our stay was just wonderful followed by delicious breakfast before we left next morning...highly recommended..thanks a million for everything

It was a really nice stay, i had my debs there on the 21st July, and staying there was really good, dissapointed with the dj not turning up and the band wasn't great but staying there really made up for it, rooms are fabulous

I can't remember staying in a more comfortable 4 star hotel. It was as it should be very comfortable & well appointed. The facilities were very good indeed. Staff were pleasant and exhibited good customer care practices. The only negative was the view from my room to the rear.

i stayed in the hotel with work on the 9-6-09 i was on my own but had a great time. went for a swim had alovely meal and retired to my room. one complaint i would have is the tv not enopugh decent channels on tv
