hubby and I stayed here for valentines weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it ..right from check in through to check out it was top class all the way ...extremely helpful staff.. (the young bar man was a great laugh )..the room was so nice..and the bed was complete comfort ..looking forward to a return visit..highly recommend ..

Attended a function in Jan 2011 and stayed overnight - food at function (full sit down meal) was excellent, service at the bar was prompt and the room was super with the most comfortable bed ever .... perfect! Will go there again.

Myself wife and 6 year old stayed there for 3 nights one of the best hotels I've stayed in the staff are brilliant the pool area is brilliant I will be going back soon

Stayed for weekend in March with my brother and his wife the food was excellent leisure centre also excellent and the atmosphere was also good the breakfast was excellent as much as you want. The price was very good

I would just like to thank the hotel and spa staff for the most wonderful weekend. I went down on a girly weekend with my mam, aunts and cousins and we had a lovely time. The staff in the spa were very ... nice and we were all very relaxed. The reception staff were very friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be back to the hotel as the price was great at €99 for 2 night b&b and a evening meal. ---

Perfect weekend break with our 8 and 11 year old kids. Thought our son (11) would be too old for to enjoy the Kids Club but both came back excited both nights. Excellent value at €5 per child for 4 hours including swim and food while we relaxed with excellent meals and a few drinks. Will definitely be back!

Just back from a lovely mid-term break at Carlton Shearwater. Kids club was very good and our kids were really happy there. The family suites are also well worth booking if you are going with kids, for the extra space. Lovely pool too and staff were extremely helpful. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

My partner and i went to a country night stayed in an executive suite from the moment we arrived we felt so welcome from the lady on reception to the lady who brought room service the next day we couldn't have asked for more friendlier or helpful staff. will definitely be back

my husband and I stayed here for 3 days and we really chilled out, I fell in love with the fantastic pool and at one stage had it all to myself something I have wanted to do for many years, Everything ... was brilliant food, rooms staff and it's the first hotel we have stayed in that the pillows were so comfy, no need to stuff a jumper or anything else you could find to get comfortable. We will definitely be going there again, and I'd say friend will too after our recommendation. Well done, to you all. ---
